The story of palm leaf begins in South India, where leaves from areca palm trees are collected after they have naturally fallen from the trees. One hectare of these trees can yield up to 6,700 leaves annually. These leaves are carefully washed and pressed into desired shapes, such as plates and bowls, under steam and heat. This process preserves the natural strength and hygiene of the palm leaf, and the products are ultimately dried and packaged.

Our premium Thali palm leaf products are manufactured by a supplier that manages the entire production chain. This guarantees that workers are employed under safe conditions and receive fair wages. Additionally, this project supports the local community in India, where 500 people can sustain their families and send their children to school thanks to this work.
