Our biodegradable straws are food safe and tasteless. The drinking straws are made of PLA (corn starch) obtained from corn, making the straws completely biodegradable. The straws can be used together with our PLA drinking cups. The straws are very sturdy and hardly bend.
Please note: from July 3, 2021, new rules for the use of (bio)plastic disposable items will apply in the European Union. This concerns the Single Use Plastics (SUP) directive, which means this item will disappear from our range. Our current stock that we purchased before July 3, 2021 may still be sold and used. Our cardboard straws do not fall under this legislation and therefore remain in our range.
