This PLA lid can be used to close the salad bowls with a diameter of 18.5 cm, these bowls can be can be found in the related articles. In combination with the lid, the food bowls are ideal for takeaway and delivery. Moreover, the lid is designed in such a way that the containers can be neatly stacked in the carrying bag.

Our biodegradable lids are made from PLA (corn starch) obtained from corn. This fast-growing crop serves as a renewable raw material for the production of our drinking cups and lids. The lids are certified according to the European standard EN13432, which stands for industrial compostability, and they therefore bear the OK compost and seedling logo.

Note: this lid is suitable for cold applications up to about 40°C.
