PLA lids are suitable up to 40 °C and up to -20 °C in the freezer. The lids are water resistant, food safe and 100% compostable.
This PLA lid can be used to close the sugar cane food boxes. Moreover, this PLA lid offers an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic containers and lids. Use a banderole for optimal closure, which you will find in the related articles.
Our biodegradable lids are made from PLA (corn starch) obtained from corn. This fast-growing crop serves as a renewable raw material for the production of our lids. The lids are certified according to the European standard EN13432, which stands for industrial compostability, and they therefore bear the OK compost and seedling logo.
