PLA salad containers can be used to package a cold salad or pasta dish. Salad containers made from corn are an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic salad containers. This square salad bowl comes with a lid, so you no longer have to order it separately.

Our biodegradable salad bowls are made from PLA (corn starch) obtained from corn. This fast-growing crop serves as a renewable raw material for the production of our salad bowls. The lids are certified according to the European standard EN13432, which stands for industrial compostability, and they therefore bear the OK compost and seedling logo.

Note: this container is suitable for cold applications up to about 40°C.
