The production of cane sugar produces large amounts of residual material called “bagasse”. These remains would have been burned off but are now used as a natural raw material for the production of Bio Futura's sugar cane products. Sugar cane items are certified according to the European standard EN13432 which stands for industrial compostability. This allows the OK compost and seedling logo to be worn. span>
