Pros and cons
Sugar cane plate 18cm Ø is sturdy and can be used excellently for various small dishes, such as starters and side dishes. These brown sugar cane plates are a good alternative to plastic plates, very useful for a barbecue or party, for example.
The production of cane sugar produces large amounts of residual material called “bagasse”. These remains would have burned down but are now used as a natural raw material for the production of Bio Futura's sugar cane plates. Bio Futura's sugar cane items are certified according to the European standard EN13432 which stands for industrial compostability. This allows the OK compost and seedling logo to be worn.
