The production of cane sugar produces large amounts of residual material called “bagasse”. These remains would have been burned off but are now used as a natural raw material for the production of Bio Futura's sugar cane products. Bio Futura's sugar cane articles are certified according to theEuropean standard EN13432 which stands for industrial compostability. This allows the OK compost and seedling logo to be worn. Moreover, this product is HOME-compostable certified, which means that this product can also be composted in the compost heap at your home.
