The simple round boards are very versatile. These are suitable for hot and cold dishes and are wet strong. The sugar cane plates are very sturdy and thicker than traditional disposable plates. This means that the plates no longer have to be stacked with heavy and/or hot dishes.
The plates are made of the material sugar cane. This material is an agricultural residual flow, the sugar cane is used in the production of cane sugar. After this production, the sugar cane is ground into pulp. The plates can be pressed with this pulp, using a mould. The plates are certified compostable and are completely biobased.
