The boards are very versatile in use. The size can be used for various dishes, large and small. The plates are also suitable for both hot and cold applications. The material is very sturdy and the plates do not tip over with heavy dishes. The size makes the plates very useful for buffets, catering and parties. The plates are made of the material sugar cane. This is an agricultural residual steam from cane sugar production and is completely renewable. The crops are ground and pressed into a mold to make plates. The plates are certified compostable after use and are also completely biobased.
